AREAS OF INTEREST
I am interested in mosquitoes as vectors of pathogens. I am most interested in human habitats that support mosquitoes and how these habitats affect mosquito behaviour and evolution. For my MS research I will be investigating the ecology of mosquito establishment in the Greenville and Atlanta zoos. Initially, I will focus on the biotic and abiotic factors that can be used as tools to predict larval distribution and succession. However, all things parasitic, zoonotic, or hematophagic hold my attention.
